Musical Charity Evening in Support of Visually Impaired Artists

On May 4, 2025, Sevartha Foundation organized a soul-stirring musical charity event to uplift and support visually impaired artists and underprivileged individuals. Held at the Thakur College of Science and Commerce auditorium, the event brought together music, compassion, and community spirit.
The evening was graced by the presence of Padmashree Dr. Tatyarao Lahane and IRS R. N. Dsouza (Income Tax Commissioner), adding great value to the occasion.
The highlight of the event was an enchanting performance by 12 visually impaired artists, who mesmerized the audience with their soulful renditions of classic Hindi retro songs. Their passion and talent captivated everyone present and earned standing ovations.
Sevartha Foundation also took the opportunity to felicitate these artists along with the volunteers from Thakur College, who played a vital role in organizing and managing the event.
Beyond entertainment, the event successfully raised awareness and funds for the welfare of the visually impaired community. It reflected Sevartha Foundation’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity, empowerment, and meaningful social change.
